CinePanalo 2026 Expands to 6 Ayala Malls Cinemas

Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival 2026 expands to six Ayala Malls Cinemas across Metro Manila

Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival 2026 is expanding to six Ayala Malls Cinemas across Metro Manila, with all seven original full-length films and 20 student-made shorts screening at the participating locations for the duration of the festival.

That's a pretty significant expansion for CinePanalo. More cinemas don't just mean more screenings. They make it considerably easier for someone who's curious about one of these films to actually go and see it.

With locations in Taguig, Makati, Pasig, Parañaque, and Quezon City, the Ayala Malls partnership gives CinePanalo a much wider footprint across Metro Manila and puts both its feature films and student shorts in front of audiences well beyond a single festival crowd.

Which Ayala Malls Cinemas are screening CinePanalo 2026?

CinePanalo 2026 will screen at these six Ayala Malls locations:

  • Market! Market! in Taguig
  • TriNoma in Quezon City
  • Fairview Terraces in Quezon City
  • Ayala Malls Feliz in Pasig
  • Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Parañaque
  • Ayala Malls Circuit in Makati

It's also a pretty smart geographic spread. Market! Market! gives Taguig its own festival stop, Circuit covers Makati, Feliz brings CinePanalo to Pasig, Manila Bay takes it farther south, and Quezon City gets two options through TriNoma and Fairview Terraces.

The locations were selected with reach in mind, particularly across communities connected to local arts and independent cinema as well as student, youth, family, and more mainstream moviegoing audiences.

Why the Ayala Malls expansion matters

For Puregold, the goal is straightforward: get more Filipino-made films in front of more Filipino audiences.

Puregold Senior Marketing Manager Ivy Hayagan-Piedad said the Ayala Malls partnership gives CinePanalo a way to reach more people as the festival continues to grow, while giving its films a broader platform.

On the Ayala Malls side, Yvette Roldan, Head of Ayala Malls' Ancillary Business, pointed to CinePanalo's focus on stories drawn from Filipino lives, dreams, and everyday victories, as well as the festival's support for student and regional filmmakers.

That last part is worth paying attention to. CinePanalo isn't only putting seven full-length films on additional screens. Its 20 student shorts are getting that expanded Metro Manila reach too.

For young filmmakers, theatrical exhibition is still a very different proposition from simply having a film available somewhere online. Getting a short in front of an actual paying cinema audience, across six malls no less, gives that work a kind of visibility that's difficult to replicate anywhere else.

More screens for Filipino stories

CinePanalo films from previous editions have gone on to screen and compete at festivals across Asia, Europe, and Africa. That's an encouraging trajectory for a relatively young Filipino film festival, but there's something particularly fitting about making those kinds of films easier to see here at home first.

And that's really the bigger story here.

A festival can have a strong lineup, support promising filmmakers, and eventually send films around the world. But audiences still need somewhere convenient to watch them.

Six Ayala Malls Cinemas spread across Metro Manila won't solve every accessibility problem, but it does make CinePanalo feel less like something you have to specifically seek out and more like an actual citywide moviegoing event.

Individual screening schedules, cinema assignments, and ticketing details will be worth watching for as CinePanalo 2026 gets closer.
