Unsaulicited is Saul de Jesus's independent theater and culture blog, covering Manila and Philippine live performance since 2015.
It began as a place to write about what a production actually felt like in the room. The site now brings together first-hand reviews, source-backed previews, practical show information, concert coverage, and an archive of the local stage.
How the coverage works
Reviews are based on performances Saul attended. When the information is available, they identify the performance date and venue and draw from notes, original photographs, sightlines, audience response, and the specific choices made onstage.
Previews, announcements, and ticket guides are built from official production information and other verified sources. They are kept distinct from reviews. Missing or conflicting details are flagged instead of being filled in with guesses.
